About the role

RainCloud Media is seeking a creative, organized, and strategic Social Media Specialist to join our growing team in Southlake, Texas. In this role, you’ll partner with ministries, nonprofits, media organizations, and purpose-driven brands to develop and execute engaging social media strategies that drive meaningful growth. You’ll collaborate with designers, video editors, paid media specialists, and fellow strategists to create content that performs while building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage organic social media strategy for a portfolio of client accounts across a variety of industries.
  • Develop weekly and monthly content calendars aligned with each client's goals and brand voice.
  • Write compelling captions and content tailored to each platform.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and video editors to produce engaging creative assets.
  • Provide creative direction and feedback on content development.
  • Analyze content performance and recommend ongoing improvements.
  • Stay current on platform trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.

  • Present ideas and recommendations during client meetings.
  • Schedule and publish content across appropriate social platforms.

  • Be available for occasional evening or weekend projects when needed.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, communications, or public relations preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and other social platforms.
  • Excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker who enjoys collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of professionalism.
